Fair 5K Sets Record

A record number of participants were on
hand at the Meade County Fair 5K Run Saturday morning. A total
of 127 people of all ages attended the annual event which
helps step of the Meade County Fair. According to event
organizers, the previous record was 89 participants, set just
a few years ago.
Since the weather was nice and cool for a July morning with
temperatures around 70 degrees, runners enjoyed the event this
year. The top finishers crossed the finish in the following
