Breckinridge County Sheriff Department said an argument broke out and the man was beaten, kicked, and stabbed with a small knife. The stab wounds were not life threatening.
The two men sped off in a black Chevrolet Colorado truck that had shiny, custom wheels, tinted windows, and Jefferson County license tags. The truck went north on Highway 259 toward Harned.
One man was described as a white male, about 6 feet 2 inches tall, wearing plaid shorts and a dark shirt. The other was a white male, about 5’ 10”, with dark hair. The assault victim told the police it all happened so fast he didn’t get a good description. The attack happened around 10:30 am CDT.
The Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Department asks that anyone who has any information about the incident, or thinks they’ve seen the black truck, to call the sheriff’s office or the crime-tip hot-line at 580-TIPS. Calls to the tip line are completely anonymous.
