Man Face Child Porn Charges

A Nicholas County man has pleaded guilty to receiving child pornography and will be sentenced to at least 15 years in prison.
Robert Ray Butler, 39, pleaded guilty Thursday in federal court, according to a news release from U.S. Attorney James Zerhusen.
The investigation started in April 2009, when police stopped Butler for a traffic violation and learned that he had failed to register as a sex offender.
A search of Butler's computer showed that he had more than 2,000 images of child pornography and more than 100 videos.
Butler faces 15 to 40 years in prison when he is sentenced in June.
