KSP Arrests Indiana Fugitive

An Indiana man wanted for murder was arrested Thursday morning in Hart County.
Thomas Franklin, 32, of Indianapolis, was arrested at 10:11 a.m. Thursday on Defries Road in Hart County on a fugitive warrant for murder and probation violation on carjacking.
According to the Kentucky State Police, a joint three-day investigation by the Kentucky State Police and U.S. Marshals’ Office resulted in Franklin’s arrest. The U.S. Marshals’ field office in Indianapolis initiated the investigation and contacted the Bowling Green field office.
Franklin is in Hart County Jail pending extradition to Indiana on the fugitive warrant.
