Police Arrests Man On Theft Charges

Kentucky State Police arrested a South Dakota man in Elizabethtown. Police arrested 25 year-old Timothy Gibson Jr. at an address on Shepherdsville Road northeast of Elizabethtown.
Gibson had escaped from a half way house in South Dakota, stole a vehicle and fled to Illinois. He then stole a Pontiac Grand AM in Illinois where he drove to his mother’s residence. Kentucky State Police located the vehicle and Gibson turned himself in a short time later.
Gibson is charged with receiving stolen property under $10,000 and was lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center. State police are continuing their investigation.
