Lawrence E. Gonterman, 87, of Payneville, died Thursday, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
He was born May 28, 1924 in Cub Run, to the late Jessie Louis and Lennie M. Philpott Gonterman and was preceeded in death by three sisters and three brothers.

His wife: Betty Jean Gonterman of Payneville.
Two daughters: Brenda Armes of Harriman, Tennessee and June Roy.
Two sons: Terry and Kenneth Gonterman both of Payneville.
One step-son Rickey Graff of Payneville.
Seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 12:30 pm Tuesday at the Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home in Brandenburg with burial to follow at 2 pm in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff. Visitation will be Monday from 4 until 9 pm and after 8:30 am Tuesday at the funeral home.
