Ladywave Holiday Tournament Results

The Meade County Ladywave Basketball team
traveled over the holiday break to compete in tournament
action.
First the Ladywaves went to Gatlinburg, Tennessee December
20-22, for the first of two holiday tournaments. The
Ladywaves played three games, winning one and losing two.
The final game in Gatlinburg was another close one for the
Ladywaves as they lost to Butler, Georgia in overtime
47-43.
Head Coach Josh Hurt traveled back to the home of his
first head coaching job as the Ladywaves participated in
the Gallatin Steel Invitational in Gallatin County on
December 26-29. The Ladywaves played a tough 4 game
schedule, winning the first three and losing the final
game to a tough Owen County (10-3) team, who currently are
set amongst the leaders in the 8th region. The
Owen County game came down to the wire with the final
score of 39-38.
Meade County Ladywaves will prepare to take on Edmonson
County Saturday afternoon at 12:30pm EST on the road.
