Meade County residents now have a local facility where they can seek rehabilitative treatment for a variety of ailments.
Hardin Memorial Health has opened the doors to its newest Therapy & Sports Medicine facility located within the Brandenburg Diagnostic Center.
HMH Physical Therapist Kayla Stull, a Meade County native, will be the main therapist at the location and she is excited to provide therapeutic services to patients in her hometown. Stull is from Brandenburg and received her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Bellarmine University.
Brandenburg is the fourth Therapy & Sports Medicine location. The other locations are in Elizabethtown, Radcliff and Bardstown and the new facility will be located within the HMH Brandenburg Diagnostic Center, which offers a full range of imaging services including MRI, CT scan, routine X-Ray and Ultrasound.
Therapists at the new facility provide rehabilitation for a number of issues include back, neck and joint pain, Parkinson’s Disease, sports injuries, stroke, total joint replacement and neurological issues.
Therapists will see patients at the Brandenburg location starting two days a week, treating a variety of ailments from post surgical orthopedic injuries to stroke or neurologic conditions to job injuries.
