Kentucky State Police detectives arrested and charged 29 year-old Marcus Branden Boyken, of Greenville, with tampering with physical evidence.
Wednesday’s (12/6) arrest stems from the ongoing investigation of the death of Tromain Mackall which occurred back in July 2016. Mackall, 29, of Ohio County, was reported missing July 25, 2016. His body was later discovered inside a toolbox floating in Spring Fork Creek in Grayson County.
Boyken is now incarcerated at the Kentucky State Reformatory in LaGrange, for other unrelated charges. He was charged there Wednesday by detectives and will remain at Kentucky State Reformatory.

Hill was lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center in Owensboro with no bond. Investigators also originally arrested William E. Howard Jr, 48, of Falls of Rough, who remains in jail on related charges in the case.
