A routine traffic stop on Interstate 65 in Hardin County early Monday morning landed the driver in jail and facing multiple charges.
A Kentucky State Police trooper observed a vehicle speeding northbound at the 99 mile marker on I-65. The driver, 51 year-old Michael Anthony Kiser of Louisville, was arrested and lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center.
A vehicle search was conducted where burglary tools and a large amount of coins was found to be in Kiser’s possession. He also had arrest warrants out of Jefferson County for charges related to criminal mischief and theft.
New charges against Kiser are Possession of Burglary Tools, Giving A Peace Officer False Identifying Information, Speeding Failure to Maintain Required insurance and Operating on Suspended/ Revoked Operators License.
