Police recovered a United States Postal Service package filled with nearly 14 pounds of marijuana and arrested the man who accepted its delivery.
On Friday, police approached the home of 49 year-old John Roark of Louisville with a search warrant. After the parcel was delivered by an USPS worker and taken inside by Roark, police knocked on the front door of the home. No one answered, but officers found the door was unlocked and went inside.
When officers went in they found Roark and opened the package containing the marijuana and a marijuana pipe, papers and a scale, according to an arrest report.
The same report said Roark told officers all the items they found belonged to him.
