An Elizabethtown man charged in a 2018 shooting death of another man on Greenway Drive was convicted Monday of murder by a Hardin County jury.
Bradley Anderson, 34 of Elizabethtown, was charged in the April 5, 2018 death of 26 year-old Stanley McFalda Jr. Anderson shot McFalda once in the head.
It took jurors about 70 minutes to find Anderson guilty of murder. The jury of nine men and three women also was asked to consider convicting Anderson of first-degree manslaughter or acquitting him.
The jury settled on the maximum possible sentence of life in prison. He could have been sentenced to 20 to 50 years. Circuit Judge Kelly Mark Easton will set a date for final sentencing.
