Two Leitchfield men faces charges after break-in attempt at the home of an elderly woman in Grayson County.
On Thursday a 95-year-old woman call Grayson County Dispatch advising that someone was trying to forcibly gain entry to her home on Falls of Rough Road.
When officers arrived they found two men and a female juvenile at the residence. The men told the officers their vehicle had broken down.
Upon further investigation it was determined they had made numerous attempts to gain entry but has been unsuccessful.
Arrested at the scene were 21-year-old Jacob Holderman and 20-year-old Jacob Finley, both of Leitchfield. They also had a 14-year-old female juvenile with them.
The juvenile was released to her parents. Holderman and Finley were lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center and charged with Criminal Attempt to Commit Burglary 2nd, Burglary 3rd, Criminal Mischief 3rd, Alcohol Intoxication, and Unlawful Transaction With A Minor.
Officers from the Grayson County Sheriff’s Department, Leitchfield Police Department and Kentucky State Police responded to the scene.
