A pursuit of a vehicle wanted in connection with a robbery in eastern Louisville Metro resulted in a crash that involved an Louisville Metro Police Department cruiser.
Louisville Metro Police Department spokesman Dwight Mitchell said officers were called around 9:30 a.m. about the robbery of a person at Nelson Miller Parkway and English Station Road. When officers from the Middletown Police Department spotted a vehicle matching the description, the car fled and the pursuit began.
Police said the suspect collided with a Middletown and Louisville Metro Police Department cruiser and continued east on Shelbyville Road.
A Louisville Metro Police Department cruiser then hit a SUV in the intersection of Beckley Station and U.S. 60. As a result, the driver, the passenger of the civilian vehicle and the officer were transported to University Hospital, all with minor injuries.
The wanted vehicle continued east on U.S. 60 into Shelby County where the suspect was apprehended in a wooded area at his home on Burks Branch Road.
