Kentucky officials are planning to lease a private prison in order to help stop the overcrowding in jails in the state.
The facility located in Wheelwright in Floyd County will now be called the Southeast State Correction Complex and plans to house hundreds of inmates.
Officials say the prison will open in 2020 and is expected to employ around 200 people.
The private prison was last used to house inmates in 2012.
