Kentucky State Police has released the identity of the third body found at the residence on River Road near Roanoke in Larue County.
The body of the suspect was identified as 40 year-old Michael Murray of Louisville. State Police responded to a shooting in LaRue County on July 22 that later led detectives to a residence along Ashby Lane in Jefferson County. Nicole Murray, 39 of New Haven, was found shot to death and Brittany Wilson, 33 of Louisville, was found dismembered in a freezer. Detectives believe that Nicole Murray was a victim of a domestic situation in which she was shot twice and as a result died at the scene on River Road. It was determined that the suspect, after killing Murray, notified a family member and confessed to killing both Murray and Wilson before taking their own life.
Kentucky State Police are continuing to investigate the case.
