A Radcliff man was arrested Friday night and charged with first-degree strangulation and second-degree assault after an alleged argument over a phone call.
According to a Radcliff police citation, 32 year-old Kelvin Riley placed his arm around the victim’s neck and attempted to strike the person with his fist.
The citation did not indicate the extent of injuries sustained as a result of the assault. First-degree strangulation and second-degree assault are Class C felonies, punishable by five to 10 years in prison each, if convicted.
Riley was lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center. He is scheduled to appear Monday morning for a video arrangement before Hardin District Court.
