A Radcliff man who was once listed among Hardin County’s Most Wanted has been indicted for multiple charges including attempted murder after what police said was a bad drug deal. Warren C. Fryer, 27 of Radcliff, reportedly met a man behind an apartment complex late on August 6 to sell him marijuana, according to his arrest citation. Instead, Fryer pointed a gun at the man and took $35 and car keys from him. After the man fled, police say Fryer shot at him three times, striking him in the left thigh, shattering his femur. The shooting victim identified Fryer in a photo lineup days later, according to police. Fryer, who spent six months on the run after being indicted on charges related to a 2009 robbery that landed him on the county’s most wanted list, faces five felony charges following the shooting. The indictments are for attempted murder, first-degree assault and first-degree robbery and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon along with being a persistent felony offender.
