Multiple Bowling Green Fire Department were on scene at Bowling Green Towers Saturday afternoon responding to a carbon monoxide leak.
Calls came in at approximately 2:30 p.m. Saturday reporting a leak in the building, with residents being evacuated shortly afterward.
Officials with the Bowling Green Fire Department said carbon monoxide was detected on “several floors” but only one leak was located, with it reportedly being sealed at approximately 4:30 p.m.
One individual was sent to the emergency room for conditions relating to carbon monoxide.
