
A joint investigation led to the arrest of a Scottsville woman Tuesday after law enforcement officials discovered a large quantity of suspected methamphetamine and other narcotics at her residence.
According to a release from authorities, members of the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force, Warren County Drug Task Force, and Kentucky State Police executed an arrest warrant at the home of 39-year-old Megan T. Sequeira, located at 529 Old Port Oliver Road in Scottsville.
During the search, detectives reportedly located 144 grams of suspected methamphetamine, along with other narcotics, marijuana, U.S. currency, and items consistent with drug trafficking.
Sequeira was taken into custody and lodged in the Allen County Detention Center. In addition to the outstanding warrant, she faces the following charges:
Trafficking in Controlled Substance, 1st Degree (Methamphetamine)
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Possession of Controlled Substance, 1st Degree (Drug Unspecified)
Persistent Felony Offender
Possession of Marijuana
Authorities say the investigation remains ongoing.
