The order is in response to a gasoline pipeline explosion in rural Shelby County, Alabama.<!--more--> <\/p>\n<p>The order, issued Monday, temporarily relieves drivers of commercial motor vehicles from restrictions on hours of service while they are transporting petroleum in Kentucky.  <\/p>\n<p>Drivers are required to have a copy of the order in the truck cab if delivering petroleum beyond their normal hours of service. Drivers are required to follow state and federal safety regulations at all times. <\/p>\n<p>On October 31, crews struck a gas pipeline belonging to Colonial Pipeline during an excavation project. The blast resulted in one fatality, multiple injuries and burned for days.
