\nFirst responders in Meade County went to the scene of accidents Wednesday (11\/9) night.<\/p>\n

The first accident happened along the 1900 block of Old State Road in Brandenburg around 6:45 pm when a 2004 Ford Ranger left the roadway and struck a utility pole causing a power outage. The 17 year-old driver was checked at the scene by Meade County EMS and refused transport for their injuries. Kentucky Fish and Wildlife assisted the Brandenburg Police at the scene where the roadway fully reopened around 7:30 pm.<\/p>\n

The second accident happened around 8:30 pm along US Highway 60 at the intersection of Ruby Run Lane. Two vehicles struck head-on causing at least one person to be treated at the scene and taken to Breckinridge Memorial Hospital in Hardinsburg by Meade County EMS. The Ekron Fire Department assisted the Meade County Sheriff’s Department at the scene. No other information have been made available.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
