\nA teenage girl is facing charges in the armed robbery of a vehicle in Mt. Washington.<\/p>\n
Police were called to High Point Court just before 1 a.m. on Sunday, where a woman reported that her car was taken at gunpoint.<\/p>\n
Officers found the car traveling on Bardstown Road in Mt. Washington and followed it into Jefferson County.<\/p>\n
Mt. Washington Police and LMPD tried to stop the car as it continued on the Gene Snyder Freeway and Taylorsville Road. The driver eventually crashed into a guardrail at the intersection of Old Taylorsville Road.<\/p>\n
A 14-year-old female was driving the car, according to police. A 16-year-old male passenger was also arrested. Both are charged with robbery, fleeing or evading and wanton endangerment.<\/p>\n
Police are still gathering information to determine if any other people were involved.
