State law requires the attorney general to conduct post-election audits in no fewer than 5 percent of Kentucky&#8217;s counties. Beshear said the selection does not imply any election irregularities.<\/p>\n<p>Beshear said his office has received 277 complaints from 66 counties, including nine allegations of vote buying. Beshear said all of the complaints were investigated and have been closed.<\/p>\n<p>The State Board of Elections certified the November 8 election results on Tuesday. Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes said 1.95 million people voted in Kentucky, or 59 percent of registered voters.
