\nLaw enforcement in Grayson County responded to a report of a gunfire during a domestic disturbance Saturday (1\/21) night in Clarkson.<\/p>\n

Around 10:30 pm CST, officers with the Grayson County Sheriff\u2019s Department, Clarkson Police Department and Kentucky State Police responded to a residence in the 400 block of North Patterson Street, in Clarkson. A report of gunshots were made after a male suspect was shooting at or near residences in the area. When police arrived on the scene, the suspect identified as 25 year-old Joshua T. Newsome, 25, of Clarkson, went inside a home.<\/p>\n

Local law enforcement attempted to persuade the man to exit the home for nearly an hour, but the man refused to come outside. After a short time at the scene, Kentucky State Police Troopers were able to get Newsome to come out of the residence.<\/p>\n

Newsome was arrested and charged with wanton endangerment, first degree and was lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
