\nThe body of a dead man found last Thursday afternoon behind Sam’s Club in Elizabethtown has been identified as 49 year-old James R. Hawkins of Elizabethtown.<\/p>\n
\nThe body of a dead man found last Thursday afternoon behind Sam’s Club in Elizabethtown has been identified as 49 year-old James R. Hawkins of Elizabethtown.<\/p>\n
Hardin County Coroner Dr. William Lee identified the man. Elizabethtown police still are awaiting the official report from the Medical Examiner\u2019s Office on a cause of death.<\/p>\n
Authorities said last week it appeared the man had been dead between six and eight weeks. The body was located in a field just north of Sam\u2019s Club by two people hitting golf balls into a field.<\/p>\n
EPD spokesman Virgil Willoughby said the man had not been reported missing.<\/p>\n
The investigation continues.
