According to the Meade County Sheriff\u2019s Department, the first accident happened around 8:30 am Friday morning in Garrett<!--more--><\/p>\n<p> at the intersection of Kentucky 144 and 1238 when two vehicles collided. One driver was taken to Nortons Hospital in Louisville for their injuries by Meade County EMS. The Flaherty and Ekron Fire Departments also assisted at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>A second accident happened around 5 pm at the intersection of Kentucky 1600 and Coleman Road. One person was taken to the hospital by Meade County EMS.
