On Thursday (5\/4) units from the Meade County Sheriff’s Department and Flaherty Fire Department were called to the scene of a two vehicle accident at the intersection of US 60 and Guston Road around 3:20 pm. One person was taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown by Meade County EMS for their injuries. Traffic was delayed until 4:07 pm.<\/p>\n
Later Thursday evening, units of the Meade County, Muldraugh and Flaherty Fire Departments were called to the 160 block of Woods Drive on a report of a structure fire. When crews arrived they found smoke coming from the roof line of the house. Firemen were able to quickly extinguish the situation. No injuries were reported.<\/p>\n
On Friday (5\/5), the Muldraugh Fire Department was called to the Back Street Cafe in Muldraugh on afire alarm activation after an employee smelled smoke. Crews were on the scene a short time for an investigation and cleared the scene a short time later. No injuries were reported.<\/p>\n
A two vehicle accident happened around 5:13 pm Saturday (5\/6) at the intersection of Kentucky 313 and Kentucky 1882. One person was taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown by Meade County EMS for their injuries. The Flaherty Fire Department assisted the Meade County Sheriff’s Department at the scene.<\/p>\n
A single vehicle accidnet happened around 6:45 am Monday (5\/8) at the intersection of Olin and Rock Ridge Roads. A vehicle rolled over onto it’s side. The driver of the vehicle refused medical treatment by Meade County EMS.
