The offices are co-located in newly renovated space at the Nature Trail Medical Plaza along Kentucky 313 at the intersection of Logsdon Parkway.<\/p>\n
Dennis Johnson, HMH President and CEO said, “This expansion of HMH brings top physicians and providers and high-demand services together for the whole family, in one easy and larger location.” Johnson added that while patients from Radcliff, Vine Grove and Meade County are the closest to all the benefits in this new office, patients from Elizabethtown and across Central Kentucky also have easy access to the growing Internal Medicine and Pediatrics practice because of the facility’s location.<\/p>\n
The two physicians, Amanda Chism, M.D. and Bethany Haynes, M.D., are board certified in both internal medicine and pediatrics. A third physician who is also board certified in both specialties is slated to join the team later this year. Internal medicine specializes in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of adult medical conditions while pediatrics manages the healthcare for infants, children and adolescents.<\/p>\n
HMH’s Vice President and Chief Population Health Officer, Jody Prather, M.D. said that there are only six Internal Medicine and Pediatrics practices in Kentucky.<\/p>\n
“Being board certified in both medicine and pediatrics gives Dr. Chism, Dr. Haynes and their future partners a very special skill set,” said Prather. “This dual certification means they can care for patients at all stages of life and for entire families in one practice.”<\/p>\n
The new space is nearly four times the size of the previous location just down the street next HMH Care First and will also soon feature onsite X-ray and laboratory services for patient convenience.<\/p>\n
The new offices combined encompass nearly 21,000 square feet. HMH officials said there is an additional 9,300 square feet of space available at the plaza to accommodate additional growth.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
