The male driver and his female passenger were both airlifted from the scene by Air Methods and Air Evac Life Ambulances to University of Louisville Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Battletown and Payneville Fire Departments along with Meade County EMS assisted the Meade County Sheriff&#8217;s Department at the scene.
