According to Representative Greer, Sherill&#8217;s name will be added to the new section Highway 313 as it meets the By-Pass Road at Brandenburg Station.<\/p>\n<p>The 27 year-old Sergeant Sherill was killed on April 3, 2005 in Bayji, Iraq, when his medium armored vehicle encountered a improvised explosive device during Operation Freedom. Sherill was assigned to the Army National Guard 2113th Transportation Company in Paducah. He was a native of Ekron, a local father, son, and a volunteer in the Community.
