\nA man is behind bars in Logan County after a sheriff’s deputy says he led them on a pursuit.<\/p>\n
\nA man is behind bars in Logan County after a sheriff’s deputy says he led them on a pursuit.<\/p>\n
Just before 8:30 Saturday night, a deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop on Proctor Mill Road for expired and canceled registration plates.<\/p>\n
The driver, 39 year old Chris Garner of Morgantown, failed to stop and led the deputy to a residence on J.R. Williams Road.<\/p>\n
When Garner stopped the vehicle, he fled on foot into a wooded area behind the residence.<\/p>\n
After a search of the area, Garner was located hiding in a brier patch and was taken into custody.<\/p>\n
Garner was arrested for numerous warrants in Logan and Butler counties, and is behind bars in the Logan County Detention Center on several charges.
