After a short discussion, the city council voted to appoint Bryan Claycomb to fill the unexpired term on the council. Claycomb has been active in community and is the former executive vice president of Meade County Bank.<\/p>\n<p>In other business, the council reviewed and discussed proposed amendments to the city sign ordinance. The council heard and approved the first reading of the updated ordinance.
