According to police, Brooks was apparently unconscious when, regaining consciousness, he suddenly accelerated his vehicle, striking an unoccupied Chevrolet HHR in its passenger side. After hitting the Chevy, Brooks continued accelerating the Corolla into the HHR, shredding the Toyota\u2019s front tires. Apparently, Brooks then again fell unconscious. Brooks failed a field sobriety test.<\/p>\n<p>Upon a search of Brook&#8217;s Toyota discovered suspect heroin and a syringe, as well as marijuana.
