Among the documents being sought by the attorney general&#8217;s department of criminal investigations are copies of emails between Ramsey, former foundation secretary Kathleen Smith and ex-chief financial officer Jason Tomlinson.<\/p>\n<p>In seeking the contents of Ramsey&#8217;s computer in late June, department commissioner John Moberly said access to the hard drive was &#8220;necessary for a complete review of all matters&#8221; related to the foundation.<\/p>\n<p>The audit found the foundation lost millions of dollars from the university&#8217;s endowment through excessive spending, including on compensation for Smith and Ramsey.
