Timothy Madden’s trial has been set for February 26, 2018, but it won’t be in Allen County. A survey will be conducted for surrounding counties to determine venue.<\/p>\n
Madden is charged with murder, rape, sodomy, and kidnapping in the death of 7-year-old Gabbi Doolin.<\/p>\n
Doolin was killed on November 14, 2015 on the campus of Allen County-Scottsville High School during a youth football game.<\/p>\n
In a December 2016 interview Madden’s attorney Travis Lock said it would be tough for his client to get a fair trial in Allen County or any of the surrounding counties.<\/p>\n
Lock filed the change of venue request on March 31, 2017.<\/p>\n
Timothy Madden faces the death penalty if convicted.
