Christopher Thomas Elkins, 43, reportedly took \u201cvoyeurism-style photographs\u201d of the girl between January 1, 2015 and June 1, 2016, according to an arrest warrant.<\/p>\n
The girl said she was changing her clothes in a bathroom at a relative\u2019s home after swimming when she noticed a cellular phone being held in the window of the bathroom. After notifying a relative, the relative also entered the bathroom and observed a cellphone in the window for about 20 seconds, according to a warrant.<\/p>\n
Authorities \u201cfound on the devices some photographs of evidence.\u2019\u2019 The family of the girl confirmed the photographs were of the female juvenile.<\/p>\n
When Kentucky State Police went to arrest Elkins, he became confrontational and resisted arrest. Troopers tasered Elkins, who then attempted to force a state trooper down a set of stairs and grabbed at the leg of another.<\/p>\n
Two state troopers received cuts to their hands and had to be treated by Hardin County EMS.<\/p>\n
Elkins is charged with one count of possessing\/viewing matter portraying sexual performance by a minor; three counts of third-degree assault on a police or probation officer; and misdemeanor resisting arrest. Elkins is being held in lieu of a $15,000 cash bond in the Hardin County Detention Center.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
