\nA Vine Grove man was injured in a motorcycle accident Wednesday evening (10\/21). According to the Meade County Sheriff’s Department the accident happened around 7:15 pm around the four mile marker of Rabbit Run Road.<\/p>\n

A 2012 Harley Davidson FLS motorcycle operated by 61 year-old Ricky Lovingood of Vine Grove was traveling along Kentucky 1816 when he lost control, crossed over the road and went into a ditch line grass. Lovingood attempted to bring the motorcycle back up onto the roadway when the front tire became stuck causing him to thrown from the motorcycle which rolled over a couple of times. <\/p>\n

Lovingood was treated at the scene by Meade County EMS and then airlifted to University of Louisville Hospital by Air Methods for his injuries. The Flaherty Fire Department also assisted at the scene.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
