\nA Kentucky State Police trooper is under investigation after he began a altercation with workers in a construction zone at Fort Knox.<\/p>\n

A concerning video involving an off-duty Kentucky State Police trooper and a road crew surfaced on social media and sparked an internal investigation. The video was shot Sunday (9\/24) night by Justin Gaddis, a member of a road crew on Dixie Highway, just south of Tip Top. Gaddis said the man in the video ignored the slow sign, the safety light, and the cones marking the lane. A paving crew employee eventually yelled at him to slow down. <\/p>\n

The man identified as Trooper Anthony Harrison of Elizabethtown Post 4, stopped suddenly in the only single traffic lane and began to yell at the road crew. Harrison identified himself as a trooper but he was in plain clothes and driving his personal vehicle. As the altercation escalated, several road workers pinned Harris down on the fresh asphalt until marked police could arrive at the scene.<\/p>\n

A spokesman for Kentucky State Police called the video startling and upsetting and stated that an internal investigation has began. So far no charges have been brought in the incident. Harrison remains on the job as the investigation continues.
