\nThis past weekend, the Grayson County Sheriff\u2019s Office conducted a warrant round-up. The round-up, coined \u201cOperation GC Storm\u201d netted 20 criminal arrests and summonses.<\/p>\n

Approximately 110 attempts on warrants and criminal summonses were made in the span of about five hours.<\/p>\n
The arrests and summonses included flagrant non support, trafficking in controlled substances, assault, failure to pay fines, cold checks, and other misdemeanor even felony indictment warrants.<\/p>\n
In one arrest attempt, a suspect fled from officers on foot, but was quickly apprehended where he was found to be in possession of meth. A subsequent search warrant at the man\u2019s residence led to the confiscation of approximately 2 pounds of processed marijuana as well as multiple guns and drug paraphernalia.<\/p>\n
In a statement released Monday (09\/25), Sheriff Norman Chaffins says the plan is to have at least two round-ups every year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
