The accident happened at the 0 mile marker on the Bluegrass Parkway <\/p>\n<p>Connor Sheehan, 17 of Bowling Green, was operating a 2006 Chevrolet HHR on the Westbound on-ramp of the Bluegrass Parkway traveling toward I-65. Brenda Watkins, 57 of Lexington, was operating a 2009 Ford Fusion and traveling Eastbound on the Bluegrass Parkway ramp headed towards Northbound I-65.<\/p>\n<p>For unknown reasons, Sheehan&#8217;s vehicle crossed the median, overturned, and struck Watkins\u2019s vehicle head on. Sheehan was pronounced dead at the scene by the Hardin County Coroner\u2019s Office. Watkins was taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital by Hardin County EMS with non life-threatening injuries.  <\/p>\n<p>Both drivers were wearing seatbelts and alcohol is not believed to be a contributing factor.
