\nThe 18th annual Christmas By The River is expected to light up the holidays in downtown Brandenburg in the Riverfront Park.<\/p>\n
\nThe 18th annual Christmas By The River is expected to light up the holidays in downtown Brandenburg in the Riverfront Park.<\/p>\n
Organizers have a afternoon of activities planned on Saturday November 25 beginning around 2:30 pm in the park. Among the festivities will be pictures with Santa all day, Christmas movies and children’s cookie decorating, coloring contest, and face painting. The afternoon will also feature local vendors and food trucks and live entertainment of Christmas carols featuring Ray Whited and local girl scout troops. The events will lead up the official lighting of the displays through the park with a fireworks show at dusk.<\/p>\n
Christmas By The River features over 100 lighted displays with thousands of lights through out the length of the park. Admission to the park is free and organizer ask for a donation as your leave the park to help with the electric expenses of the event. As you drive through the park you can listen to the official holiday soundtrack presented by WVIH.com.<\/p>\n
