\nPolice say a Kentucky man is charged with killing his girlfriend’s 2-year-old daughter.<\/p>\n

Louisville Police spokesman Dwight Mitchell said that 21-year-old Erin Smith-Spencer was arrested Wednesday and has since been charged with murder. An arrest citation says Smith-Spencer caused “severe physical injuries” while disciplining the child on Monday (11\/20). Mitchell said police were called two days later when the girl was unresponsive. She died later that day.<\/p>\n

The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office said the child’s cause of death was multiple blunt force injuries. Deputy Coroner Scott Russ says the manner of death was ruled a homicide.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
