\"Ekron<\/a>Members of the Ekron City Commission met during their regular monthly meeting Tuesday evening (11\/3). Mayor Gwynne Ison asked for commissioners and residents to report criminal activity in the community to the Meade County Sheriff’s anonymous tip line at (270) 422-4673.<\/p>\n

The comments come after a second drug bust in the community within the past few weeks. The tip hotline is answered by an answering machine and checked daily by detectives in the department. Mayor Ison urges members of the community to use the resource to help keep the community safe.<\/p>\n

In other business, Commissioners approved an annual wage adjustment for the end of the year. The Commission will take the month of December off and will reconvene during their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, January 5 at 6:30 pm. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
