\nA man was arrested after he was found to be under the influence and was struck by his mother in the driveway of a residence in Grayson County Saturday (5\/21) night.<\/p>\n

Police responded to a report of a child struck in the 1500 block of Sunbeam Road. They found 25 year-old Thomas Paul had stepped in front of a vehicle driven by his mother, Hope Paul, causing her to strike him with her car. Hope Paul had come to the residence to check on her son and the property.<\/p>\n

Thomas Paul was not injured and appeared to be under the influence, causing him to be a danger to himself and others. Paul was taken to Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center to be checked and and was charged with public intoxication.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
