Montgomery was riding a bicycle in the southbound emergency lane of of US 31W near the intersection of Bullion Boulevard at Fort Knox,just before 4 a.m. Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Montgomery was pronounced dead at the scene. Casey was taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown for minor injuries. Casey was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, second degree manslaughter, and leaving the scene of an accident\/failure to render aid with death or serious injury.<\/p>\n<p>Police said that Casey kept going for about a mile before stopping.
