\nMembers of Meade County Fiscal Court set the county Trick or Treat hours during their regular meeting Tuesday (10\/9) night.<\/p>\n

Trick or Treat hours in the unincorporated areas of Meade County will be held on Wednesday, October 31 between 5- 8 pm. The times are the same in the cities of Brandenburg, Ekron and Muldraugh. Magistrates received a update and report from the Meade County History Museum. The has had 493 visitors since it opened this summer and has had $740 in sales at the gift shop. Organizers have raised $20,000 to help get the project started and maintain the monthly operating expenses. Gerry Fischer provided a pictures presentation of some of the displays that cover prehistoric time to modern time in Meade County. Fischer said that several generous donations on lending of items from the community has enhanced the launch of the museum. <\/p>\n

In other business, Fiscal Court approved the proclamation honoring Dennis Nevitt, who passed away last week. Nevitt worked for the county Parks and Recreations. The court approved the fees and use of voting machines for the upcoming general election that will be used by the County Clerk.<\/p>\n

Magistrates gave approval for the Judge Executive and respective committee members to open sealed bids related to the Meade County EMS for a box swap on ambulance and proposals for a roof of the River Front Amphitheater. <\/p>\n
