The ordinance exempts agriculture workers and employees who receive tips. Mayor Jim Gray said he would sign the ordinance into law.<\/p>\n<p>The current minimum wage is $7.25 an hour. Louisville raised its minimum wage by 50 cents in June and plans to increase it to $9 an hour by 2017. The Kentucky Restaurant Association sued to block the increase.
