\nThe Barren County Sheriff’s Department deputies went to a house on Park City Glasgow Road Friday to a suicidal person, 48 year-old David Pons, who had posted on Facebook that he had killed someone.<\/p>\n

When deputies arrived at the scene they found a woman and a man in a car; the woman was passed out and the man was dead from apparent gunshot wounds.<\/p>\n
Police say Pons came out of the house and was arrested and charged with murder. Pons said the victim had threatened the woman. According to police, the woman never heard the victim threaten anyone. When police took Pons into custody, they say he told them he shot the man in the car in self-defense.<\/p>\n
A juvenile, who was also on scene, said the adults were drinking and Pons and the victim started arguing. Police say the woman and the victim were leaving the house when the shots were fired.<\/p>\n
An autopsy was performed by the medical examiner’s office in Louisville and the victim was identified as 32 year-old Christopher Walker of Glasgow.<\/p>\n
Investigation is on-going by the Barren County Sheriff’s Office.
