\nMemorial arrangements for fallen Meade County Sheriff Deputy Chris Hulsey were made public Monday (9\/23). <\/p>\n
Hulsey’s body was escorted back to Meade County by a procession of about twenty emergency vehicles and family from Corydon, Indiana to the Hager Funeral Home in Brandenburg. Deputy Hulsey had a fatal heart attack Saturday (9\/21) evening after an altercation with a suspect during while assisting with an execution of a search warrant.<\/p>\n
A static memorial display is currently at the Meade County Courthouse where a candlelight vigil will be held at 8 pm Tuesday (9\/24) evening. Visitation will be held from Noon until 8 pm Friday (9\/27) at the Hager Funeral Home. A Public funeral service will be held at 1 pm Saturday (9\/28) at the Meade County High School gym. <\/p>\n
Meade County Judge Executive Gerry Lynn and Meade County Fiscal Court has directed all flags be lowered and flown at half staff until sundown on Monday (9\/30) in remembrance of Deputy Hulsey.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
